The Tour of Destiny

Our flagship tour is the Tour of Destiny, a 90 minute walking tour that explores Nashville’s rich contributions to our nations history. We will explore much of the music history, but also Nashville’s contributions and role during the Civil War. It’s human rights milestones, which includes the conclusion of the tour at the historic Woolworth.

For the past five years, I have guided visitors through downtown Nashville, passing this remarkable building and sharing its epic and often austere history. For the last several months, I have also had the privilege of serving as an usher at the historic Woolworth Theatre, the site of the Nashville Sit-Ins of February 13, 1960.

Today, I am honored to conduct interior tours of this solemn and significant landmark while also introducing guests to some of the most unique live entertainment experiences in downtown Nashville, including The Shiners Nashville Show.

On the lower level of the Woolworth, you’ll find The Marquee Nashville, one of downtown’s premier jazz venues, featuring live music throughout the weekend and an exceptional fusion-inspired menu. Guests can combine my guided tour with dinner and live jazz at The Marquee before concluding the evening with an unforgettable performance at the Woolworth Theatre.
